About

Discovery Drone pilot/operators are knowledgeable and proficient with both fixed wind and multirotor aircraft.  They will work with you to determine the best equipment for the requirements of the task or project.  Sensors appropriate to your project will be implemented and a report with the appropriate images and or data will be provided in a professional presentation.  We are here to provide a unique perspective and give you the best advantage provided by aerial remote sensing.

Visible

Our visible light cameras capture amazing 4K video that is 4 times the resolution of HD Video and photos of up to 12 megapixels (suitable for large format prints).  No "GoPro" cameras here with the fisheye distortion.  These cameras capture distortion free images with amazing color and clarity.

NDVI

An Normalized Difference Vegetative Index (NDVI) camera is the most effective way to assess crop health and vigor.  For more on this type of imagery please go to the Agricultural Page.

FLIR

Forward-looking infrared cameras (FLIR) use detection of infrared radiation, typically emitted from a heat source (thermal radiation), to create a "picture" assembled for video output. This type of camera can "see" in the dark or through fog as it detects warm objects against a cooler background. The wavelength of infrared that thermal imaging cameras detect differs significantly from that of night vision, which operates in the visible light and near-infrared ranges (0.4 to 1.0 μm).
